Pai Mu Dan White Tea
Pai Mu Dan (or Baimudan), meaning White Peony, is a Chinese white tea grown in Fujian Province. Like Silver Needle, Pai Mu Dan is harvested from the Da-bai cultivar. While Silver Needle is comprised solely of leaf buds and has a delicate flavour, Pai Mu Dan is made using sets of a bud and two young leaves, resulting in a fuller flavour.
